Laura Sobotik
Laura was first drawn to yoga to alleviate the stress and anxiety that came up for her during college. Laura believes that by focusing on the breath, movement and personal intention of practice, that students will leave the mat with a greater sense of self and a new way to interact in their world. Laura incorporates elements of gentle yoga, Hatha yoga and meditation focused on breath awareness and personal intention to create a space where students can practice safely, without judgement, in a way that is perfect for them. In her class, you can expect to be welcomed with an encouraging spirit and loving heart. It is Laura's goal to spread to her students the great joy, along with, the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits that yoga can bring. Laura believes that as a teacher, it is her role to hold space for students to experience their own sense of self and develop their innate resources to encourage relaxation and personal growth.
