Class Descriptions

Asthanga Improv

With a traditional Ashtanga opening and closing, the core of the class is a fun mix-up of arm balances, inversions, challenging backbends and more. We will heat the room naturally while purifying the muscles and internal organs. Open to students of all levels -- it's about exploration and adventure! If you're new to the Ashtanga practice we offer modifications, use of props and lots of chances to rest and observe.

Asthanga Led Primary Series

"Yoga Chikitsa" which means Yoga Therapy. Its purpose is to re-align the spine, detoxify the body, build strength, and increase flexibility. This is a group led class in which the postures of the Ashtanga Primary Series are instructed with hands-on adjustments and direction by the teacher. Students should be familiar with the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series.

Friday Night LIVE

Music is known to soothe the soul. Music can be felt in your heart and resonated in your daily thoughts and actions. Get ready for a fun flow practice to LIVE Music! This is a great way to spend a Friday evening, wind down, and loosen up. Spend time with yourself, other yogis, the community. Bring a friend, bring your date, OR bring your teen that you want to bond and have a date with! Next class is Friday, March 20 @ 7:30pm.


This class incorporates slow movement with breath to restore the joints and ease sore muscles. This all-levels class reduces stress, joint pressure and is the ideal way to end your work week.

Family Yoga

Bring your entire family and practice yoga together! Our family yoga classes provide a fun and creative space for children, parents and friends to interact through poses, music, art, games and stories. Classes weave together mindfulness and movement with themes such balance, responsibility, compassion, nutrition and wellness, both on and off the yoga mat. Age-appropriate postures which build strength, flexibility and self-confidence, are included for the entire family. Enjoy time connecting, relaxing and breathing with your children, friends and family.

Forrest Yoga

A powerful flow practice which uses a strong focus on breath, strength, integrity and connection to spirit, Forrest yoga will teach you how to play with your edges and tap into hidden power centers held physically and emotionally within the body in order to use your practice for self healing and self discovery.

Basic Beginner Series

The Basic Beginner Series is a 4-week class designed to provide a foundation on which to build your yoga practice. We'll explore some basic guidelines to help you prepare your body and mind for your practice. We'll teach you how to properly utilize your breath, along with some helpful tools for remaining present and centered. We'll also explore in detail how to find correct alignment, including how to properly modify all of the most commonly practiced yoga postures. Classes held Sundays from 2-3:30pm. Next series starts in May. Sign up by going to our class schedule and clicking on workshops. 

Beginner's Yoga: Beyond Basics

Whether you are new to yoga or wanting to revisit your foundations, this class will guide you through the elements of basic postures and help you develop good practice habits by focusing on proper alignment, strength and balance. No flexibility necessary, just your beautiful open mind.

All Levels Flow

Kick start your weekend with a complete body-mind practice. This all-levels Vinyasa Flow class delivers fundamental poses that build strength, balance, flexibility and focus, dynamically moving from pose to pose. You’ll leave refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to embrace the remainder of your weekend! 

Yoga for Athletes

Yoga for Athletes is a recovery class designed for athletes looking to stretch and relax their muscles to help improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury. This class offers a balance of yoga, breath-work and relaxation that will strengthen your core and improve your balance and flexibility. No previous yoga experience is necessary. 

Prenatal Yoga 

This hour-long class will focus on postures that are appropriate for pregnant women with an emphasis on breathing, relaxation and muscle toning. Have the best possible pregnancy and delivery by learning to stretch and strengthen the body, focus and relax the mind, control breathing and develop awareness. Best of all, meet a lovely community of pregnant women in your neighborhood! 

Strong Flow

Get strong and flexible through this dynamic practice! This vigorous style of yoga links breath with movement through a sequence of Sun Salutations and postures. There's plenty of toning and lean muscle building for your entire body. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will test the edge of your balance and flexibility. The rigorous, moving flow in this class will build heat - an excellent aid in increasing flexibility and eliminating mental and physical toxins.

Slow Flow 

This class will encourage us to discover the potential in slowing the breath and flow of vinyasa. We will explore in depth and focus on blending alignment with our own natural rhythm of movement. A great class for any level of student wishing to establish or reinforce a strong foundation.  

Baby & Me Yoga

Baby and Me is for babies 4 weeks until they are crawling and their care provider. Classes focus on early body awareness, growth and development, musicality, and giving baby the opportunity to engage and develop playful loving bonds. Adults also get the opportunity to stretch, relax, and simply enjoy connecting with baby. $15 drop-in or class pass.  Thursdays at 10am.

Toddler & Me Yoga

This yoga class welcomes crawlers to strong walkers, and is for toddlers 1-3 years old, depending on your babe's development. Parents have the opportunity to partner and play with their toddler in simple animated poses, games, music and breathing exercises. Classes focus on body awareness, growth and development, and coordination strengthening in this playful and loving atmosphere. Adults also get the opportunity to stretch, relax, and just be with the child.

Kundalini Yoga

A one hour class open to all levels of students. Though physically challenging it’s never boring! Each class includes asanas (postures), pranayam (breath exercises), mantras (sound current that help you focus your mind) and meditation. Deep relaxation at the end of each class is accompanied by a live gong! The physical benefits of Kundalini Yoga include balancing the glandular system, strengthening the nervous system, increasing flexibility and strength. It also helps you to shake off your stress and fatigue, find a peace of mind and live your excellence! 

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga, where the entire yoga sequence is practiced sitting in a chair, or standing using the support of the chair. Chair Yoga is a great practice for anyone, but is especially good for students with injuries or limited mobility.
