Awakening Soul 200-hr
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” - C.S. Lewis
Thank you for your interest in the Southtown Yoga Loft Awakening Soul Teacher Training program. We are as excited as you are to share what we love. If you've ever wondered why yoga makes you feel the way it does, or what greater meaning there is beyond downward facing dog, our comprehensive, refreshing and modern program invites you to dive deeper into your practice, uncovering the pathway to discover your authentic self. The overall intention of this program is to create a nurturing space that inspires your sense of self and your confidence, while strengthening your physical practice and your passion for LIFE! This training supports both serious yoga students who want to deepen their practice as well as aspiring teachers who wish to share the practice skillfully, safely, and with the power of their own unique voice. Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa are highlighted in the training and serve as an empowering foundation of understanding for both students and teachers. Students in this program will learn how to effectively lead a Vinyasa yoga class including: properly sequencing a flow, giving safe adjustments and modifications, pacing and synchronizing breath to movement, effective use of voice, Sanskrit terminology and how to make every class their own.
